Well, with Jimmy Smith's retirement, I guess the Jacksonville Jaguars feel like they need to add a couple of veteran WRs into the mix. Neither Troy Edwards nor Randy Hymes are anything special, although Edwards did have a few good years with the Steelers a ways back. I'm guessing only one makes the team, probably Edwards. What say you folks?

I have always like Edwards (got a million of his rooke cards to prove it), I really thought he would be a great possession receiver in the pros...I like him on a depleted Jaguar team.

On a side note: Wasn't he Rattay's receiver in college?

Yes indeed he was, as Lousiana Tech. I remember when he and Rattay lit up the Cornhuskers through the air. Rattay threw for 500 yards, 400 of which I believe went to Edwards. If I recall correctly, they actually wound up losing that game, too. Nebraska was just too much for their defense.
