Porter and Jaguars: Happy ever after?

Jerry Porter wants a fresh start, a chance to reshape his reputation away from the chaos that is the Oakland Raiders.
Jacksonville is taking a gamble on the famously malcontent Porter. But last year they were on the brink of the elite playoff teams of the NFL, and they needed something to infuse the offense to keep up with their competitor's numbers.
So here's to a happy marriage between the two.

Porter says this is a stable team, they know in which direction they are going and the coaching and quarterback situation is set. He says this is a relief to him.
Think it will work out better in Jacksonville??

Re: Porter and Jaguars: Happy ever after?

Yes I think this is a good move and Porter can be a success on the Jags. That article mentioned Plax, Moss and other receivers who needed a fresh start and I think Porter has the talent to be a very very good receiver if his head is focused and in Jacksonville this may come to pass because it seems that Jack Del Rio is a players coach. Williamson/R. Williams and Porter as starters? Not too bad. Not exactly Welker and Moss but I think the Jaguars are making the right moves in supporting David Garrard's career and that ferocious D with an improved aerial attack makes them a contender for that AFC Championship.
