I can't speak for Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor , but I'm sure he would like to take a moment to thank the Carolina Panthers defense for laying down and giving up in the fourth quarter today.
With 9:48 left in the game the Jaguars already led 27-6, Taylor broke free for an 80-yard touchdown run. It was the 59th rushing touchdown of Taylor's career. It also allowed him, on Jacksonville's next possession, to gain 13 yards on two more carries, which put him at 10,457 yards rushing for his career -- a number that surpasses both Tiki Barber (10,449) and Eddie George (10,441) on the NFL's all-time rushing list, where Taylor now ranks 18th.
