Week One of the 2007 NFL season has the Jaguars playing the Titans .... will the Jags be better off with out Leftwich at QB ?

the Titans showed they had some O-line problems in the preseason so the Jags should bring the blitz ...... a lot

A big, big NO...look, when the coach and the QB can't have more than a 30 second conversation, it will not go well for any team. Forget the QB problem...this is a leadership problem as well. Titans find a way in a 10-9 game.

Titans will win this one...Maurice Jones-Drew will make it interesting but they have no QB..Vince young will have a big day..

Del Rio's betting his career that Garrard's better than Leftwich. He better be right. Neither one of them's as good as Young, but then, Jacksonville has the better set of running backs far and away. This one will come down to the Titans defense. How well can they stop Taylor and Drew? If the Jags are able to dominate on the line of scrimmage and control the clock, they'll win this one.

I am suprise Taylor is still a factor...great runner when not injured but a decade of dings has to be piling up on him. Drew is the future, but at 5-7...I have my doubts.

That's why Taylor's still a factor. They're afraid to give Drew too many carries, since he's on the smallish side.

Titans defense was huge..

Chris Brown had 19 carries for 175 yrds.
Lendale White had 18 carries for 66 yrds

Vince Young had the only rushing touchdown..

All in all the Titans had a total 282 rushing yrds...

Bring on the Colts..

Either the Jags run defense is terrible, or the Titans are going to have a lot better rushing attack than a lot of us thought!
