Newsday caught up with Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end and Long Island native James Wyche at this year's New York City vs. Long Island high school All-Star game at Hofstra University... Wyche, a former Syracuse standout who went 213th in the 2006 draft, spent most of his rookie year on the Jacksonville practice squad but was promoted near the end of last season and will compete for a starting job at left defensive end.
