The Jags placed QB Byron Leftwich on injured reserve today, officially ending any chances of him returning in 2006. The load is all on David Garrard's back now as he will be the one leading the Jags to a playoff birth or not.

The question now to ask is could Coach Del Rio lose total confidence in both Leftwich and Garrard that he goes for a new QB in the draft in April?

The load is for another QB to be the Jags starter from now on cuz Leftwich is too injury prone and not really that great anyway. Stick with Garrard.

Is he really on the way out?? I have heard several times around here that the Browns should ride out Frye this year then get Leftwich next year to start and train Frye. I know that Lefteich is injury prone, but is he that bad that they gave up on him. Would they let him go??

If he stays healthy, Leftwich is a good QB. He's the opposite of Jake Plummer - he can pass in the pocket but hes immobile.
