You'll have to excuse Jacksonville football fans if they seem a little spoiled. After all, they had the opportunity to buy Jaguars playoff tickets four times in the team's first five seasons of existence. After a tough 1995 season in which they debuted in the National Football League with a 4-12 record, good for fifth place in the AFC Central, the Jags came back to go 9-7 in 1996 and reach the playoffs as a Wild Card contender. But qualifying for the postseason wasn't enough for this game Jacksonville team. They beat the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round and the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Playoff. In the AFC Championship, they played the New England Patriots, giving the Pats all they wanted before bowing out, 20-6. After that, the Jaguars would have back-to-back 11-win seasons, reaching the playoffs in both 1997 and 1998 and winning the Central division championship in the latter season. In 1999, they would make it a second straight division title and a fourth consecutive trip to the postseason by going 14-2, advancing once again all the way to the AFC title game before losing to the Titans. So even from the early days of the franchise, Jacksonville was a threat to make the playoffs almost every season.

So how does one go about finding Jaguars playoff tickets? Well, it's pretty easy if you're a season ticket holder. As the official Jacksonville team website says, one benefit of purchasing season passes is that you will have first crack at the same seats for all playoff games held at the Jags home field, Alltel Stadium. However, it's not exactly easy to obtain season passes for any NFL team, let alone one that has been as successful as the Jaguars. So it should come as no surprise that there is, in fact, a waiting list for those hoping to purchase a set of season passes. A one time fee of $50 is currently required to have your name places on the waiting list. The fee is refundable up until the availability of said tickets is announced, and will be applied towards the final cost of the season tickets.
