| Iowa State coach Dan McCarney resigns
Iowa State coach Dan McCarney, the longest tenured coach in the Big 12, announced that he will resign following the end of the season. Telling reporters that "Sometimes you have to put the organization ahead of yourself" and that "the best thing for this program right now is for me to step down," McCarney announced that his 12th season on the Cyclones sideline would be his last. It's a shame, because McCarney is a class act and really has become just a victim of the expectations he created in Ames. So what do you think of McCarney's decision to step down? |
