Basically the University of Iowa is suspending activities because of the flooding that is plaguing the state.

University of Iowa Suspends All Activities :: All non-essential events and activites are suspended until at least Sunday, June 22

The University of Iowa has suspended all non-essential activities beginning Friday, June 13, through Sunday, June 22. This suspension includes all activities and events related to the intercollegiate athletics program at the UI.

Friends of the University and fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes are invited to utilize the UI's official world wide web site for the most up-to-date information about flood-related activities.

I know a good chunk of Iowa City is flooded and parts of campus are underwater. Things aren't near that bad here in western Iowa and thankfully the weather is looking better.
