| Warrants on Sex Case Sealed Again The search warrants involving an alleged sexual assault at Hillcrest Hall last November have been sealed for another 60 days, according to court records. Sixth District Judge Marsha Bergan extended the seal for six warrants, according to court documents filed on Friday. This is the second time the search warrants have been sealed. The search warrants were originally sealed on Nov. 16. In November, the University of Iowa Department of Public Safety released that they were investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Hillcrest Hall on Oct. 14. Department of Public Safety officials were assisted in the investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. According to police, three UI football players were being questioned about the alleged sexual assault. Police have not named the victim, but confirmed she is a UI student. Neither court nor university officials have named the players and no charges have been filed. Prosecutors have also been tight-lipped about when or if any charges will be filed. press-citizen.com | Local News
