Six Iowa Softball Players Suspended
Six Iowa softball players have been suspended indefinitely, and one has been dismissed for violation of team rules.

Junior Lindsey Emery was dismissed while senior Emily Nichols, juniors Erin Riemersma, Quinn Morelock and Rachel West, sophomore Amanda Zust and freshman Chelsey Carmody were suspended.

"We are very disappointed in the actions of those players suspended," Iowa coach Gayle Blevins said in a news release Friday. "These actions do not represent the attitude or expectations of our program."

It was one of the players was charged with PAULA. What the heck is PAULA?

Thank you, good sir. I've never heard it called that before. Around here, it's just Underage Possession.
