| Regular Season was a Grind for Hawkeyes The end of the regular season couldn't have come at a better time for everybody associated with the Iowa men's basketball team. From the head coach on down to the student managers, this team needed a break from the competition, and perhaps from each other, if only for a short time. Iowa hung on to defeat Northwestern 67-62 Tuesday in Evanston, Ill., so at least the players have something to rally behind after losing five of their previous six games. All that remains now is the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis, where Iowa will be seeded anywhere from seventh to 10th among the 11 teams. hawk central | Hawkeye Basketball, Men's
