| Courts to Keep Sexaul Assult Case Records Sealed The Johnson County District Court on Nov. 14 ordered the University of Iowa to give to the court all documents related to a campus sex assault investigation, but UI says it was barred from making that request public, the school said today. The university has faced repeated requests by news media to get access to documents related to the investigation of a sexual assault that UI has said involves Hawkeye football players. But not only did the court bar UI from revealing the documents, it also barred the school from revealing the fact it had been subpoenaed at all, UI said. Today, UI successfully petitioned the court to allow the records request to be made public, but the materials requested remain sealed until Feb. 12. press-citizen.com | Local News
