Freshman Guard to make Impact

Iowa City, Ia. — He still gets lost walking around campus sometimes - all the big buildings and trees look similar.

But Jeff Peterson can find Carver-Hawkeye Arena, where he will spend a considerable amount of time playing games the next four years, beginning tonight.

The freshman starts at guard when Iowa opens the coaching regime of Todd Lickliter against Idaho State, coached by former Southeastern of Burlington Community College coach Joe O'Brien.
