| Bowman pleads not guilty One of the Iowa football players accused of stealing a credit card and making or attempting to make about $1,500 in fraudulent purchases pleaded not guilty to the crime, court records show. Anthony Bowman, 19, of Detroit, pleaded not guilty to unauthorized use of a credit card Tuesday in a written arraignment. Bowman and fellow football player Dominique Douglas, also 19 and of Detroit, were arrested Aug. 19 for an incident that occurred May 8, when police say Douglas and Bowman stole two credit cards and made or attempted to make purchases at Hatworld, C&E Fashions and Sneakerhead. Douglas pleaded not guilty to the charge last week. Bowman's pretrial conference is set for Jan. 17 and his trial is set for Jan. 28. Bowman pleads not guilty
