Ford may consider other offers

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that Belleville (Mo.) Althoff High School running back Jason Ford has backed off his verbal commitment to the University of Iowa.

"I just wanted to open things up to make sure it's the best decision for me," Ford told the newspaper. "I'm going to take some visits to make sure everything's right. I'm going to use my five officials (visits). My visit (with Iowa) didn't go as good as I wanted it to go."

That doesn't sound good, but you never know it may have been a personality conflict with the coaching staff and he may not be what they were looking for.

Iowa has 2 possibly three running backs committed and Ford was the best so I will hold out hope.
