IOWA CITY - Sales of single game tickets to four of the six home games of the 2007 University of Iowa football team will go on sale Tuesday, July 10, the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today.
Tickets to all home games of the 2007 Iowa Hawkeyes to be played at historic Kinnick Stadium except Iowa's home season opener Sept. 8 against Syracuse and the Hawkeyes' Oct. 13 game against Illinois will go on sale via hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes, at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Over-the-counter sales at the UI Athletics Ticket Office located in Carver-Hawkeye Arena and telephone sales via 1-800 IA-HAWKS will begin at 9 a.m.
Sales of tickets to the Syracuse and Illinois games have been suspended to allow for the sale of season tickets. Single-game tickets to those games will go on sale in early August if tickets are available to sell.
Fans of the Hawkeyes will be limited to purchases of a maximum of eight tickets for Iowa's games against Big Ten Conference opponents Indiana (Homecoming, Sept. 29), Michigan State (Oct. 27) and Minnesota (Nov. 10). There is no limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased for the Hawkeyes' Nov. 17 game against Western Michigan.
