| Iowa football season tickets IOWA CITY - Sales of single game tickets to four of the six home games of the 2007 University of Iowa football team will go on sale Tuesday, July 10, the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today. Tickets to all home games of the 2007 Iowa Hawkeyes to be played at historic Kinnick Stadium except Iowa's home season opener Sept. 8 against Syracuse and the Hawkeyes' Oct. 13 game against Illinois will go on sale via hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes, at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Over-the-counter sales at the UI Athletics Ticket Office located in Carver-Hawkeye Arena and telephone sales via 1-800 IA-HAWKS will begin at 9 a.m. Sales of tickets to the Syracuse and Illinois games have been suspended to allow for the sale of season tickets. Single-game tickets to those games will go on sale in early August if tickets are available to sell. Fans of the Hawkeyes will be limited to purchases of a maximum of eight tickets for Iowa's games against Big Ten Conference opponents Indiana (Homecoming, Sept. 29), Michigan State (Oct. 27) and Minnesota (Nov. 10). There is no limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased for the Hawkeyes' Nov. 17 game against Western Michigan. Single-Game Tickets Available Tuesday |

| Season Ticket Sales to Pass 56,500 IOWA CITY - Sales of season tickets to the home games of the 2007 University of Iowa football team to the general public and UI faculty and staff have surpassed 46,000, the UI Athletics Ticket Office announced Tuesday. The UI has sold 46,158 season tickets for the six-game home schedule of the Hawkeyes. That total includes a sellout of all premium seating inside the Paul W. Brechler Press Box and 3,922 season tickets purchased by UI faculty and staff. Iowa sold 45,812 season tickets to the general public and UI faculty and staff a year ago. This year's total includes increases of more than 100 season general public season tickets and more than 200 season tickets sold to UI faculty and staff.
