| Hawkeyes vs. Fresno State The Hawkeyes will head West for their Spring Break trip in Fresno, CA, next week and play six games in five days. Iowa will play Fresno State Monday and Tuesday at 8:05 p.m., then take on the Bulldogs and Dallas Baptist in the Pepsi Johnny Quick Classic. The Hawkeyes will open the Classic with Fresno State Wednesday at 8:05 p.m., then play a pair of games on Friday against Dallas Baptist (4:05 p.m.) and Fresno State (6:05 p.m.). | Hawkeyes Fall at Fresno The University of Iowa baseball team fell to Fresno State, 13-10, Monday night in Fresno, CA. Iowa's record falls to 3-2, while the Bulldogs are 8-11... Designated hitter Brian Burmester paced the offence, going 3-of-5 with a pair of RBIs. | Hawkeyes Fall at Fresno The University of Iowa baseball team fell to Fresno State, 14-6, Tuesday night in Fresno, CA. Iowa's record falls to 3-3, while the Bulldogs are 9-11... The game started off with a bang for the Hawkeyes, as Jason White and Travis Sweet led off the top of the first with back-to-back home runs. Fresno State killed the excitement in the bottom of the inning, taking a 3-2 lead with a trio of runs. White ended the day a team-best 3-of-5 with three RBIs. | Hawkeyes Defeat Fresno State The University of Iowa baseball team topped the Fresno State Bulldogs, 10-8, Friday night in the Pepsi Johnny Quick Classic. Iowa ups its record at 5-4, while Fresno State falls to 11-14... Trailing 1-0, the Hawkeyes exploded for eight runs in the top of the second on six hits and a Bulldog error. T.J. Cataldo led off with a walk, then stole second. Ben Geelan walked, then Matt Wooldrik loaded the baseball with a bunt single.
