| Iowa LB Mike Klinkenborg to miss Alamo Bowl Mike Klinkenborg has dealt with a lot during the 2006 college football season. Iowa's all-Big Ten linebacker talked about it earlier this week during the Hawkeyes' preparations for the Alamo Bowl -- a game he'll likely miss. | Re: Iowa LB Mike Klinkenborg to miss Alamo Bowl According to various reports, Klinkenborg will indeed miss the Alamo Bowl due to a foot injury he suffered earlier this month during workouts in Iowa City. So what kind of an impact will this have on the game? Can the Hawkeyes shut down the Longhorns offense without their all-Big Ten linebacker?
