Hi,

I'm Cockmobile (Miz Maggie) and I'm a huge Gamecock fan. I found this site through Google and it looks to be a great site for sports fans. We are counting down the days for our favorite sport, college football, and I wanted to get a little insight into the NC State program and what their expectations are for this season. We normally keep closer track of the SEC teams and I wanted to educate myself on the Wolfpack program, personnel, etc. We are looking forward to welcoming them for our opener in Columbia, SC on Aug. 28th. Should be exciting and lots of fun football.

The NC Wolfpack are picked last in the Atlantic Division of the ACC. They have only 10 starters back from a team that finished 5-7 last year and the second year of new head coach Obrian.

How do you think the Gamecocks will do this year? They have 16 starters back from a 6-6 team and look pretty good to me. Is this Steve Spurrier's last year?

First, no way is this Spurrier's last year. I think he'll retire at USC and he's not about ready to be put out to pasture, just yet. LOL I think USC will be more solid this year. Should have been last year, actually. There's alot of excitement and I sense a confidence this year. Some new coaches this year, good ones. Spurrier is putting it all into place, never doubt it. He's a competitor and winner and he'll get us there. Might surprise a few people this year. I sure hope so.

Thanks Lefty! We used to have a garnet motorhome and I called it the "Cockmobile". LOL I have a pic someplace. I'll have to try and find it so that I can scan it. We had some great times on the Cockmobile.
