Hello, there, I am new to this site, and just thought I'd say hello...

My name is Virginia and I live in Syracuse, NY. Right now I'm on vacation and am enjoying my time off work. I work in a local hospital as a medical record clerk. I have been there 29 years and have loved every minute of it.

Now, my sports teams happen to be the NY Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates, as I try to root for one from each league. Also, the Super Bowl champs-NY Giants, and it's hard to explain, but, I am a Boston Celtic and Bruin fan from years ago. Believe me I catch alot of graft for this, but I can't help it. I did not root for NE to have a undefeated season, as I was a Miami fan all those years ago. I am very much into the Olympics which start soon. GO USA!!!

I will discuss anything worthwhile and intersting.

So, let the discussions begin!!!

Hi Suorange and a big hearty welcome to the best darned sports forum on the internet. We have forums covering all of your favorites. I'm to your east across the lake and I'm a Red Sox (World Champions) fan, Celtics (World Champions) fan and obviously a Patriots (Former and 2009 World Champs) fan. You didn't mention race fan so I guess we won't see much of you in our "Best on The Internet" NASCAR Forum. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I dabble here and there but I am really a die hard football fan. And oh yeah, my main team is your NFC east rival, the Cowboys.

I'm not sure about Jason Bay. Who is interested in him? Are the Yankees interested? I thought getting Nady was a great move, because we needed someone to take Hideki's place, for as long as he out.

Haven't heard possible suitors for him, but work out of the Bucs front office is that they won't be trading him. We'll see.

Thank you, Quack, I know I'm going to like it here. As for the Olympics, I haven't really been keeping track of the track team as far as who we have on the team. We always seem to do well in t&f. We shall see. I am hoping the mens basketball team wins it this year. But, you never know about the European teams and others. I am definitely going to watch as much of the BBall as I can, because of Carmelo Anthony, who went to Syracuse university.
