Name is David Clark I live in Charleston SC. Stumbled upon this forum and decided to give it a go. I was a moderator on the ESPN boards and couldn't do it anymore hope to find a forum where a middle aged sports fan can come and not have to put up with all the egomaniac's on that board.

Born and raised in SC you gotta be a Nascar and college football fan. If Clemson has a good year than so do I.

I have one question that I cant find the answer. I posted a comment on the Clemson thread and it posted but when I posted on another thread I get a message my post will be posted as soon as a moderator reviews it.

Because you are new here and your post included a link to another website our filters caught the post and sent it into moderation. At that point a moderator looks at it and decides whether or not to approve it. I looked at it and approved it. You did nothing incorrect but the post you quoted had the link but because you are a newbie the system caught you. OK ????

Yep, LSC's right. This usually stops being a problem after the first couple of posts.
Kind of an anti-spam feature around here, so people can't just sign up and immediately start promoting their own websites, you know?

They better or ole Tommy boy is out on his butt. Some preseason polls have them 7th but we all know how far that will get you. My daughter and son both graduated from Clemson. If you ever attented a Clemson game and see a Motor Home with Tiger paws on the side and back wave me down its me. I even attach a tiger tail to the rear bumper. Welcome to the forum David, you should fit in just fine. So Charleston, huh? Me and my wife visited there a handful of times when we were living in Charlotte, it's a beautiful city. So are you a fan of any particular driver or just a fan of racing in general?

All my favorites are retiring or passed away. I'll follow Jr only because of his daddy. Nascar is gettin too vanilla now but its still the best show for me until football season.
I have been cruising around ya'll board here and its easy to get lost. If you cant find something you like here I feel sorry for ya.

Sounds familiar. All my favorite drivers are gone, except for one, and he's not at 100% anymore. Bobby Allison had to retire because of a brain injury from a wreck, which he still can't remember everything. Davey Allison got killed in a helicopter crash, as did Alan Kulwicki, and Dale died at Daytona. So after 2001, I've become more of a race fan first and a "favorite driver goes here" fan second.
