| Re: Newbie says HI and has a question Okay, thanks. I've never been to a major race track and DH is finally showing some interest, so I would like to jump on it, but I have no idea what's good seating. I know that's a subjective thing, but am wondering, in general, whether it's better to be in the upper or lower sections, and why would someone like either particular view? Thanks. |

Right behind us were the seats in the blue area, which are single seats, not bench seats, and are higher up. Those seats can see the whole track, and spaced apart enough where you aren't elbow to elbow, and have more room to put your cooler or bags. When we go back, we're moving up to those seats. You don't have to go up to high in those seats, though, or you lose the feel of the cars going by. They're probably more expensive, but I think they're worth the price. We also love sitting where we do, at the end of pit lane. From there you have a great view of the start/finish line, pit road, pit road exit, cars coming out of Turn 4 and going into Turn 1. You're also sitting right in front of one of the JumboTrons. I gave a link to the seating chart to show where we sat, with a little red arrow. You'll get a better idea what I'm talking about, with it. Hope this helps. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...NASCAR/TMS.jpg |
