My name is Robert E. Forkner and I was born in Opelika, Al., down around Auburn....which I am not a fan of. Presently I have a business in Northport, Alabama which is across the river from Tuscaloosa, Al. the home of the Crimson Tide.... which I am a diehard fan of.

I do not like Yankees, I do not call females "Guys" as the Yankess have proclaimed, I say Yes Mam and No Sir, or what ever the case may be. I am very much a southerner who believes that the state of Alabama is a sovereign nation, along with all the other states.....no matter who won "Lincoln's War on the South". I believe the federal government to be an enemy of the people as they have already declared the people to be enemies of the state, that was done in 1946.

There you have a picture of myself so everyone now knows who I am and what I stand for. Nevertheless, I am a great fan and a patrotic southerner who cares deeply about our original American Republic and the Declaration of Independence for the united States of America.

What's your thoughts on Nick Saban coming over?

I think Saban will be what Alabama has needed for a long time. Mike Shula was only a fill in until the probation period was over, including the effects of that period. I believe the University did not seek out a big name coach from the beginning as there would not be a lot of interest in the job.....Therefore, they went with one of their on until that period had expired and paid Shula well for his sevices. The Tide is surly rising and many teams will soon feel the effect of this, not only in the game but in the recuiting..... Recuiting will be one thing that will work in the direction of the Tide as many big names will end up there. Yes, I think Saban will have a serious effect on the Alabama program and the SEC in general.
