I'm not a newbie but welcome and I know you will like this site too. I pretty much stick to the pro football area, but I have wandered a time or two and they seem to know their stuff.
The debates are intelligent as long as they stick to sports. If you roam around a bit, you will see what I mean. The people are intelligent, just that sometimes the discussion gets a little less so.
