greetings from West Texas

in looking for a Tennessee Titan site, this board was located.

amazed at the variety of sports forum here, surprised i had not heard of it before.

will be an intersting year in regard's to Vince Young, these 'so-called' national commentators who think last year was a fluke and a 2nd year slump is in the works will be in for a rude awakening. the term 'lose' is not in VY's vocabulary, he will do whatever it takes to win__which will not always be the case but he will leave nothing on the field. Solid leader & individual, fierce competitor and will never give up against all odds.

Re: greetings from West Texas

hey mojo welcome to the forum

did the Titans improve enough to help VY succeed ?

and are you mad at the Patriots for handing it to them at the end of last season ? ........ a few Titans fans here seemed like they thought the Pats should have rested players and rolled over

Re: greetings from West Texas

imo_the Titan's did not assist in helping VY's game this next season neither in the draft nor in the free agent market.

if the Patriots want to play that game, what goes around-comes around. they will eventually get paid back in spades.

however, if the Patriot's thought that's what was best for the team in the long run then they should have done exactly what they did.

Re: greetings from West Texas

hi mojo and welcome to the site. simple_simon was possibly refering to me when he said some people weren't to happy about the end of season game and i share the same views as you on the matter

i also agree with getting Vince help i mean the team seemed more concerned with getting defensive players and has-been offensive players than really getting anyone good in to help Vince, what are your thoughts on Reindfelt? think he was good for the team or worse than we could have imagened?

hop over to the titans forum when your ready and if theres anything you need a hand with let me know, im alex and im the titans moderator

Re: greetings from West Texas

thanks Michigan Man, your college has one of the best all-around fan base an opponent can mix with while being civil to each other.

probably Alabama's fan base was the only other I can think of who was on-par with Michigan.

an observation on my part, which consist of a one time meeting. i'm sure other's will disagree but that was my experience such as that college in Ohio whose name doesn't come readily to mind.
