Hello everyone:

My name is Mike and I am from Connecticut. I am a sports fanatic and own a volunteer national sports publication that covers various sports from Arena Football to the WNBA.

We have been trying to get into Nascar for a long time and this past week we were finally granted credentials.

I was not a Nascar fan until I went to my first live race then I found out what it was all about. The race isn't everything its the people that follow the races that make them special.

Paying the bills part I'm still in the process of trying to get established. But you would be surprised at how many volunteers are willing to write or take photos when they can get into an event for free, get the best seats in the house and get fed.

Currently, we are up to 108 and growing.

Its a lot of work but its also a lot of fun especially if you enjoy sports.
