| New Kid In Town Hello everyone, so many people here I don't want to get lost in the shuffle. I am a 57 year old black male, recently retired from the Army. Now living right where i grew up, in Spring Hill Florida. I like most all sports, baseball and football are my favorites. I love the Yankees and the Dolphins. Starting to follow racing now that I am retired. Have never really talked on the computer very much so I will do my best to keep up with you young people. |

| Re: New Kid In Town Welcome aboard, New Kid, and thanks for joining us. Must be a bit of a tough time for you as a fan, with the Fins struggling last season and the Yankees having problems this year. So what do you think of Cameron, the new coach? And who do you want starting at QB for Miami this fall?

| Re: New Kid In Town Thank you for the welcome. The Yankees struggle is tough to watch right now, but I remember watching in 1978 so I know it isn't yet over. I still find a way to keep the faith. Though, I do hate hearing all the bad things about replacing Joe Torre and Brian Cashman, none of this is their fault. As for the Dolphins, I have high hopes for this season. I really like Nick Saban and think he is a great coach, but he is wrong for the NFL. He is great with the kids, but these are not kids, they are men. I hope Cameron has a better time of it. I also really like Daunte, I just think starting him last year was a mistake when he wasn't 100% healthy. From what I have seen this year he is not at 100% yet so I think we need to put Joey in there to get things started. |

There's on-again, off-again rumors of Trent Green going to Miami. What do you think about him as a possible starter? |
| |||
| Re: New Kid In Town I think Green would be a great addition, once again as long as he is 100%. I understand they have to play through the pain sometimes, but most of the time it just seems like it hurts the team. |

| Re: New Kid In Town I suppose maybe they should put Lemon back out there until they figure out if Beck is the future or not. |
| ||||
| Re: New Kid In Town I know a couple of people on our staff are real high on Beck. I really didn't scout enough of him to say for sure, but I have heard good things. Not sure Lemon's the answer, but if Culpepper's not healthy, Harrington's gone and Green isn't a Dolphin yet, there's not much of a choice as things stand now. |

Switching gears on you a bit (if you don't mind), what do you think of the Roger Clemens comeback? I've gotta tell you, I was not overly impressed with his minor league outings. Not sure he's got the stuff he used to have, and I'll be real interested in how he fares against some of the better AL lineups. |
| |||
| Re: New Kid In Town I'm very excited about his return. One thing some of the players seem to have been lacking is focus. Clemens may not be the pitcher he was, but I think he can help get them headed in the right direction. |

Here is my prophecy ... he will not be the 2nd coming of Rogo |

| Re: New Kid In Town But I don't think he has to be, he only has to be better then what they have had so far. I am confident he is, and he has more leadership skills then any of them. |
