I get what you're saying, NKIT, but from what I've seen I'd put him third-best in the rotation tops behind Wang and Hughes.

Well I can admit I was very happy when I heard he was signed, but i do agree his starts have not been as good as I hoped. Now I am hoping he is not yet at 100%, I hope he will just get better as he goes along.

Even though I'm a Sox fan I hope you are right. I just think he thinks he's gonna be the savior of the Yankees and I don't see it happening. He is surrounded by nothing this time around.

I do see your point LSC, and I think you may be 100% right. When they talk to him after games he seems to think he had a better day then he did, like he is farther along then he really is.

That's how I see it anyway.

We'll not need the crystal ball after next Monday. The numbers will speak for themselves.

Boy I sure wish Rocket was coming back to face the Red Sox. His first start back against the dreaded division rivals... that would've been good TV.

Re: New Kid In Town

Yeah, but if he came back against the Sox, he'd be beaten senseless.

Surging Sox + Crazy Fans + Fenway Park (yuck!) + ESPN hype = Terrible Outing for (Ancient) Rocket
