Tied with Tampa Bay?!? Never thought I'd see that! Time is running out and I don't think Clemens is the answer. How about some young pitchers coming up from the farm teams?

What's wrong with the Yankees. Well, that's a big question. Age is one factor, and that they've overpaid for some mediocre ballplayers. The talent they do have is underperforming, which might lead some to point to the manager, but on the whole they're old, hurt and just flat out not as good as people expected them to be. Clemens isn't the answer, either. They need to get back to developing young talent, and they have some good young arms they absolutely need to hold onto and develop.

I don't understand how the manager can be blamed in any sports field. You're right......the players are just not performing. I used to feel comfortable when Rivera came in. Now it's always a nail biter when they call him in. The bullpen isn't what it should be. We are going down in flames pretty bad this year!!!!

Too many Overpaid EGOS if you ask me. They have the talent but can't put it all together as a team.

Exactly!!! But if someone offered me that kinda money, I wouldn't turn it down either! I just hate seeing them fall apart.....very disturbing!!!!

Hi Toots and welcome to GTG. Another problem with the Yankees right now is the RED SOX !!!

I'm a Sox fan and we are just rolling in the outfield enjoying every moment of this. It only happens every 86 years or so.

In reality it is still very early in the season and as Red Sox fans can attest to, we begin to drop off right around All Star time. Boy I hope they prove me wrong this year.

We've got mega problems and you guys should be enjoying every last second of this!!! It's just a horrible season for us, but in a twisted way, I'm glad ole' George is getting screwed!!! Ya never know what's gonna happen with any team!!
