Hi From Seattle

Hi All,

new user here from Seattle. I've played basketball since I was young, and love playing, but I just haven't been into watching it much recently. NCAA is always fun, but I really haven't watched NBA for a long time.

I figure I could get back into it here. I'd love to know your favorite players / teams - since Seattle's team ain't much to write home about. Ray Allen is cool, but whatever.

Thanks all

Re: Hi From Seattle

My favorite teams are the Los Angeles Lakers, and the New York Knicks.

I, of course, favor Kobe Bryant but also Ray Allen.

Welcome to the forums, triple7, and thanks for joining us!

I'm with you on the NBA. Not crazy about the product they put out. That said, I tend to root for the Cavs and the Spurs. San Antonio I think plays the most old-school style game in the league right now. Steve Nash is a fun player to watch too. But nothing, for me, will ever top the Bird-Magic era. Now THAT was basketball!

Hello triple7. Welcome to GTG. I have been a Cavs fan as long as I have been watching basketball. I started with the Price, Harper, Daugherty era. It was a shame they never won anything. maybe LeBron can change that this year.

Welcome tripleallstar. I'm also an ex-hoops player. I played through high school varsity...Ray Allen is the best. I'm a Knicks fan and I would trade the whole Knicks team for him.
