Longest Championship Drought for Towns w/4 Sportsteams

Hello cyberland.

I'm from the Philly area and grew accustomed to listening to sports radio 610 AM WIP whining about everything in every sport. I miss the inane dialog!! When I was there, Philadelphia was considered the 4th largest sports market, though not the 4th largest city.

Does GTG have forums for sports towns or only forums for sport?

If not...let this be the PHORUM OF PHILLY ...

Eagles Draft> Why trade with arch-nemesis Dallas? And why take a 4th round QB with that first pick? Worst, why is Donte Stallworth gone?

Phillies> How long before the Phillies go to the post-season?

Flyes> One word...Cherepanov

Sixers> Anybody cheering for AI in Denver?

Peace and may God Bless the Eagles!

Hi, chilltown, and welcome to GoteamsGo. No, no forum for all Philly sports but we do have individual forums for the Sixers, Flyers, Eagles and Phillies . Feel free to stop by each of those forums and share your thoughts on all the pro teams in the City of Brotherly Love!

Welcome to the GoTeamsGo Fan Forum, chilltown.

The Phillies should be serious contenders for the World Championship within the next few years. Ryan Howard has an incredible swing, and will be a leader in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been having some controversy concerning their QB next season, Donovan McNabb. Do you think he will be in Philadelphia in five years from now? Almost a certain answer four years ago would now bring up questions.

Re: Longest Championship Drought for Towns w/4 Sportsteams

Kevin Curtis is the heir to the #1 WR spot vacated by the departing Stallworth. I really liked Donte's game, he will be missed, but Brown stepped up last year. For years, McNabb needed help and Philly has never given him any (except the TO shananigans). So really, Tom Brady benefited most and that pisses me off because he also was given Randy Moss. No wonder the pats have been Super Bowl champs.

How come the Eagles can't see the framework to build the team from and continually chose to move laterally or backwards (Stallworth, Michael Lewis and Darwin Walker)?

Rowand, Howard, Utley, Rollins... a nice framework for the Phils. As always, where's the pitching?

Since the Islanders and Rangers are out, I may take a glance at the scores while flipping through the channels.

Afraid not... now if the weekday games were on ESPN instead of Versus, it'd be a different story.

It's only been Versus for a few months, I think. It was Outdoor Life Network before changing it's name.
