| Glad to be here My name is Marty and I am a huge UT Vols fan!!! I like the Braves and Cowboys but am not as passionate about them. I am grooming my son to be a Vol but have lost my daughter to the dark side (Bama)! I look forward to talking with you guys and gals in the months to come. |

| Re: Glad to be here I think the Vols will be around 9-4, maybe 10-3. A lot depends on how the freshman class steps up in the receiver role. We lost so much experience there we will have to have some input from them. A lot also depends on Ainge recovering from his knee surgery. If he comes back strong, the running game gets back to "Tennessee tradition" level we should be in good shape. We open tough on the road vs. Cal, play UF at Florida, and Bama at Bama. Those are some pretty tough road games. The plus side is even if we struggle in football we now have a bright future in basketball. I love what Bruce Pearl is doing there. As far as the Bama thing, it is a lost cause. My daughter is sold out for them because of the influences of my wife and her family. It is a sad time! |

| Re: Glad to be here I agree. The future of Vol basketball is very bright. I love to see programs that are traditional football powerhouses excel in basketball (ie., Florida, Tenn., USC, etc.) because it gives me hope for my Heels. Everyone says both cannot co-exist, but that is being proven wrong rapidly.

| Re: Glad to be here Man, that makes me feel better about my situation. If there is any team I hate (for obvious reasons), it is the Gators. My wife graduated from Alabama. You guys really showed up for that A Day game. Good luck with Saban. As bad as I would hate to see it happen, I really do hate to see what is probably the most storied program in the country fall on the hard times UA has. I would love to see the "3rd Saturday in October" get back to what it was in years past. |
