Hi y'all!

Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself to the masses.

I'm single and female (so don't let the moniker fool ya). I'm a huge football fan (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), love Nascar (Go Tony Stewart) and I love college basketball (Go Wildcats, Kentucky Wildcats that is)!

I found this forum through Google as the last sports forum I was on shut down (due to hacking and other issues) and believe it or not I was the ONLY woman on that forum. So I'm glad to see that there are some women on here in which to discuss sports with.

So I hope to have some fun here.

I've been lurking around here for quite awhile and all the Nascar talk is what made me join up. So never fear I'll be over there adding my 2 cents in.


And don't even get me started on the whole QB situation in Tampa Bay... Ok... You asked I'll tell ya.. I'd take Garcia and Grads over Simms any day! I've never been a Simms supporter and I personally think he's a waste of space on the roster. Sorry to be so blunt about it but that's how I feel.

I hear ya... a lot of people feel that way. Garcia had a real nice season last year, but with his age he's obviously not the long term answer. Gradkowski showed promise as a rook and now he's got someone to learn from. So I've been trying to figure out why they went and resigned Simms in the first place. Ah, well.

Welcome BucWilde. I would think this will be Simms' last year as a Buc. It's obvious he's not wanted there and I'm sure he's not thrilled after he gave his spleen for the squad and now he's been shunned.

Azrael....I'm not sure how to get your wife into sports... That could take some time for me to figure that one out. But you know I was in the opposite situation not too long ago.... Had a husband who wasn't much of a sports fan and I even had a boyfriend later on who was the same way so needless to say I divorced the husband and when I couldn't get the boyfriend to sit through a race (and he called himself a race fan as well...lol) or a football game then I dumped him too. I have now made that mandatory that any man who wishes to date me must LOVE sports! I can't help you with the Cadillac cept I believe he was used too much in his rookie season.. Took the gas right out of him ( no pun intended there) and he's had nothing but problems ever since. Hopefully he'll be better this year.

Lefty...I hear ya on that rant... I was all for the Garcia signing.. The Plummer signing was just plain stupid in my opinion but on well. Grads showed a heck of a lot more promise as rook than Simms did in the 4 years that he had to learn the system. And I'm a huge Nascar fan... I will only give up a race when football season and racing season collide and even then I'm flipping between the two when commercials are on. Only reason I'm such a huge Nascar fan is cause of Tony Stewart. I actually went to middle school with him so that's why he's my fave.

The Pundit..... Simms never should have been signed this year. He's ridden on his Daddy's coat tails for way to long now but I think the Bucs needed a guy to hold the clipboard for Gruden.

Being a Tony Stewart fan will certainly get you some attention. He has many followers and some that would love to see him drive off the track and never return. Do make sure you stop by and visit. First of all,thanks to those who welcomed me. The real reason I joined here was because of the Nascar forum... Last board I was on had a Nascar forum but I was the main one who posted in that forum and had a few comments here and there from other posters. So when I saw how busy this place's Nascar forum was that was just extra incentive to join up!

Who lives in Ocala you say? Believe me it was NOT my first choice when I moved down here... But that's where Mom and Dad are. So in order to keep up with my aging folks (and to be within hollerin distance should something happen to my folks) I chose to be nearby instead of in Tampa Bay where I originally wanted to be.

nothing to do with the moniker...we are just not all that noble here...I mean, petty disagreements, light sarcasm, complaints about the home team...that sort of stuff...sure...but noble...nope...thus you are to set the example...having said that, the mantle of nobility is one that is hard to bare...
