Hey yea so today i got discharged and we have a game after school... My varsity coach told me i needed to take it easier for awhile so today i am playing jv outfield even though i have never played outfield in my life! This should be very interesting!

Ok so i didnt have to play outfield! I played first base... I had a tripple a single and two walks. My tripple could have been a homerun but my knee started hurting at third and i couldnt go any further... Then our second game i played in i played first and i struck out once and had 2 flys to center and they were both caught:/ I am not aloud to play varsity for awhile so i dont get hurt:/ i think i get 2 dress varsity for one game on saturday because we have a tourny... One of the other freshman that just started playing varsity because of all our injuries... She plays right field and she got the rookie spot light last weekend because she was on fire at bat and in right... Im a little jealous because the main reason she is playing in the field is because her uncle plays in the major leagues:/

During the off-season, or the summer, I would focus on healing your knee and strengthening your muscles. It is important that you are fully recovered for next season.

Thanx! well actually im catching and playing first for summer ball.. My coaches wife is the assistant for ICC and so we have 3 college student on our summer team... We also have college scouts come to our summer games because our coach helps out our older players like that...



Her uncle is Jim Thome...

Oh goodness i dont like his niece she is arrogant! Yes i have met him also and it was only for awhile so i dont know what he is really like.
Oh I will dont worry! Im a little on the nervous side... My coach said that if the jv coach isnt going to use me then i can dress varsity again! He said it is a little dificult since i cant play my main possition...

Ok so you know how i started first for my first two games back well yesturday all i did was dp... I was really upset because no one likes our jv coach not even our other coaches and last night i told her my knee was throbbing and she made me bat a third time... Then the assistant coach who knows more than her came over and was like did you tell her that you were in pain and i was like yes and so she said she was going to the athletic director because the head coach was going to get in a lot of trouble for not taking me out... Then our varsity coach(summer) came over and our assistant coach was like tell him what you told me so i told him that the head coach knew i was in a lot of pain and she still had me play and the varsity coach got soo mad at her it made me laugh.

i did have a good at bat i guess my first at bat i had a ground single to center. 2nd at bat i grounded out to short and third i had a fly single to center..

As long as you keep on hitting those singles, you will be in the top of the line-up regardless of the coach.

My varsity coach was very upset when i told him because he said it was pointless for her to be putting me on the bench when she is lucky she has me for awhile... out of the 2 games i had at bat i had 7 at bats. With 6 singles, and one ground out to short rbi... So i was doing great at bat i didnt get walked or strike out not once...


I am pretty sure i will b playing d the rest of the season after my varsity coach talked to my jv coach

Good for you Charise. It sounds like your still hurt. Since you'll obviously be a valuable contributor to your team in years to come, I'm surprised that they haven't shut you down for the season, just to be safe, until you're completely healthy.

haha yea well i had a pretty good game yesturday also! I hit 3 singles and a 3 run tripple! I had hit in 5 of our 11 runs! I played first i didnt have anything incredible then again nothing ever comes to first:/ Yea im surprised they didnt bench me for the rest of the season also but it is enough not being able to catch:/ that is wut im soo looking forward to!!!
