Your last game wasn't actually all that bad.

Even as an All-Star, you can't expect to have spectacular games every single time you grace the field.

But according to your summary, you consistently hit the ball down the middle. I would focus on the sides, unless you smack it down dead center through the infield.

Also, the statistics in that game are incredible. If you keep on that pace, you would finish up the season with a .333 batting average, including RBIs 30% of the time (which is about one per game). Keep up the good work!

i think that the jv coach was expecting more out of me tho

she pulled me aside and said being the only varsity player she needs more out of me since im the clean up in the batting order...

Im having some troubles with framing pitches l8ly the pitcher isnt giving me anything 2 work with and im not sure wut to do. The varsity coach has tried to tell me but its not working:/

Don't get too down, Charise. You're only a freshman. You may be better off playing every day on JV for a year than only playing sporadically on Varsity. My daughter only played the last 2 innings and K'd swinging for her final out of the game (not that it mattered, they were getting crushed). And it's back down into the 50's today.

kk update on softball

we are 5 games in

this ewek i played 2 varsity games and one jv

the two varsity we played the state champs from last year and we got stomped the first game i caught the last 2 innings and i didnt do bad... I had a great sacrifice bunt... I also grounded out 2 shortstop...

The second game I caught the first six innings... Didnt do so hot... i mean i didnt have any passed balls but there were 2 situations that i did not make smart decisions...

today i played jv because our catcher was out of town and i didnt have any passed balls but we lost the game...


I had to have a talk with the varsity coach tho and he said he believes in me and he believes i have the potential to play divison one which made me happy cept the reason he had 2 tell me was cuz i was getting down on myself and havnt been producing very well at bat:/

thursdays game i was sliding into home and the catcher was in illegally in front of the plate and i slid right into her shin guard and messed up my knee:/ ITs the same knee i just got off of an injury wit last summer i also hurt my elbow i have to go 2 the dr 2morrow morning this was NOT in my plan

Ouch! So what did the Dr. Say? Will it keep you out of action?

Did the ump throw the catcher out of the game for illegaly blocking the plate?

What's the rule? The catcher can keep 1 foot in front, but not both?

The answer to your question last week, was they put her in right field...And she had one single hit to her that she fielded and got in to the cutoff - uneventful....They didn't play at all this past week because of the holiday.

o boy i got x rays today and they say it may be a lateral torn meniscus and i have 2 get an mri 2morrow then friday we will goback to talk bout it... they said i may need surgeryFor now i have a brace and crutches til....--

no they did not throw the catcher out she also did it to the girl behind me and they called her safe due to the illegal block..

rules if u are completely blocking the plate before a play is in action the runner is safe... She was completely infront and on the ground hovering in front of the plate...



well it sounds like your daughter didnt do to bad i hope she keeps it up and gets 2 play more


varsity=1-5-1 and our starting 2nd,short stop,pitcher, and third basman are all out for injuries 2 getting surgery on their arm, one back problems, and the other sprained armOur best player short stop had a scholarship to a divison one school for third base and today she disconnected her shoulder/broken arm:/ it was terrible she was on the ground for 25 min til the ambulence could move her... She was our best player
