 Re: :) Hey... Its Charise! Welcome Charise. My daughter just made her high school JV (9th and 10th graders) softball team as a freshman ( I guess she's the same age as you). She's a pretty good player (a corner outfielder), but definitely not good enough to play college ball. A couple of her friends made varsity. Those kids are more on your talent level. Keep us informed on how your season goes.      |

| Re: :) Hey... Its Charise! O thats gr8! Right or Left? Ive never played outfield but u have 2 be fast and have a good arm so she must be pretty good! Yea We have our first game Thursday and i have a feeling i will most likely just be DH'ing for the first game... Catcher is my nubmer one position but im the number 2 catcher on varsity i think i will be starting first tho because we only have one other first baseman and she got a bowling scholarship so she is trying 2 focus on that... The head of our conference chose us and 2 other teams to have a 3 way winning tie this year so we will see how it goes

Here in NY, there's snow and ice on the ground....That's great that you're starting as a Freshman on Varsity. You should be very proud of yourself. My daughter mainly plays leftfield, but can also play right. Good luck in your game and let us know what happens. |

Oh yea i was just imformed i am going 2 play our jv game after our varsity game thursday... I think i am dh'ing varsity and first for the jv game... That is great I will make sure to check out those stats |

| Re: :) Hey... Its Charise! Alright first game went ok... In the end we ended up with a tie 10 all because It started pooring down raining so the jv never got to play... All i did was pintch run because it starting raining before we could finish the varsity game... I had one stoled base and made it home... In the end before we ended we were in scoring position bottom of the 7th we had bases loaded with our best hitter up 2 bat who had hit 2 doubles and one outfield single earlier in the game We were also home...Our next game is a double header saturday! ~Charise |

WE had a game yesturday and our jv catcher hurt her knee so instead of playing varsity for awhile i will be catching jv... Last night i didnt do so hot... I had one throw down to second and that was about all i did well. i grounded out 2 second twice and got one single rbi to short stop... I wasnt really proving worthy to keep a spot on the varsity team im not going 2 lie... I did get one of the juniors helments to put my own number on instead of hers because i will be batting ahead of her! I am very jealous that your temps r soo gr8! I hope your daughter does gr8 tell her i said good luck! ~charise |
