[Racer Duck]

Hi all, My name is Charlie, but I use the Racer Duck ID - "Duck" for short. I'm a fan of most kinds of racing .. in fact, I don't remember any I don't like I guess my biggest claim to fame is helping my brother with his race cars before he went off racing in the Winston Cup in 1972. His name was Clarence Lovell. Since then both my son-in-law and my son have become racers and gained a good level of popularity in central Texas on the asphalt short tracks. In addition, my son spent some time working for Rich Bickle on both his Craftsman Truck and Busch teams. My son, his wife and I formed Lovell Motorsports in 2000 after he moved back to Texas and have campaigned a Super Late Model since then. We bought the car from Rich Bickle, but have not been able to match his success in it - but we enjoy racing anyway!

Wish there was a way to take the $ out of NA$CAR, though.... I think it was more fun when there was less $$$ and more racin'

Well from that statement you will fit right in with most of us in the NA$CAR forum. Come on over and jump on in the watter is fine.......right now anyway.
