Good day to you,

My name is Gledo.
From Newcastle, NSW, Australia, now living in Sydney (22 years), Australia.
I'm a 53 years young. My favourite sport is basketball, but love most sporting contests and I will be taking my first golf lesson 1st March 2007.
My teams of choice are Sydney Kings, Boston Celtics when Bird and Co played. LA Lakers under the direction of Phil Jackson, Detroit with Lambere & Co and any team that plays defence with a passion. Don't see much basketball as it is not shown on free to air TV.

Simon,
got an interest in American Football when I was in high school all those years ago. Had an exchange PE teacher who explained the game. Once again pay TV has taken it away from free to air TV.
I do enjoy any sport that has a ball oval or round.

What kind of sports do they have over in Australia that we may not know about?

Rugby League Football
Rugby Union Football
Australian Rules Football
The above three football codes play with an oval shape football, not as pointed on the ends like your footballs. All three have different shape as well.
