Hi, I'm RoadRunner, nicknamed after my alma mater's (Metropolitan State College of Denver) mascot. The Roadrunners of MSCD are two-time Division II NCAA Men's basketball champs, among other other things!

I'm a native of Denver, Colorado, and still live in the metro area. Naturally, I'm a fan of all the local teams. I bleed Broncos Orange and Blue, faithfully follow the Avs, and (pointlessly) cheer for the Rockies. I also cheer for any team playing the Oakland Raiders or the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Besides being a sports fan, I help moderate a forum about Sirius Satellite Radio at SIRIUS Backstage

I am. Rocky Hockey was a victim of poor ownership rather than poor fan support, IMHO, much in the same way as the MN North Stars. Do you remember for about 3 years after they left, Ron Zappolo (still a sports anchor, at the time) would always give the Devils score as a Rockies score, "...as the team continues it's EXTENDED road trip..."
