Hello everyone! I have a lot of sports interests, mainly SC Gamecocks, Atlanta Braves, Oakland Raiders, Indianapolis Colts and a few other teams. I was born in Virginia and left there to go into the Air Force in 1970, spent 25 years in South Carolina and for the last 12 years have lived in Florida. Spring training teams all around here for baseball. We have the LA Dodgers here in Vero , for now anyway, they are going to be leaving for Arizona in a couple of springs. Mets are just down the road and it is nice to see the big leaguers up close. Phil

It is great that they finally got past the Patriots. I think Peyton and Tony are two very fine people and I hope they win the big one. Lefty thanks for the welcome.

Thanks for the welcome. Not really into autographs, I don't like to bug guys, not at my age, it is better to let the kids get the autographs. My daughter is 14 and when she was younger I used to get a few for her, got a ball signed with Tommy Lasorda, Jim Tracy and couple of other names on it. One day, when my daughter was about 4 years old, we had been trying to catch up with Mike Piazza and never could catch him for an autograph. We were leaving and it was on a night when they had 4 or 5 former rookies of the year doing a press conference and photo op , as we walked out a man, that I had seen on the field, was leaving as we were and asked my daughter if she liked Mike Piazza, she shrugged her shoulders in her shy way and the man proceeded to reach into his pocket and hand her an autographed Piazza baseball. So Karma was with us that night. Dodgertown is a great venue for the close contact with the ball players. My favorite autograph I got was about 15 years ago. I went to a card show and got Johnny Unitas' autograph on a Starting Lineup figure of him. Grew up idolizing him and when I met him he was super cool. Talk to you later.

I liked the Colts because of Unitas , then they went thru the pits for a long time, left town in the middle of the night and went to Indianapolis, well when Peyton came to town I started liking them again. I was a Raider fan because of guys like Blanda and the Snake. Just kept my loyalty over the years. Speaking of loyalty my biggest loyalty is to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
