Just imagining such a great idea makes me wish I lived near a Duke fan. Wait a minute, that would be horrible. Never mind.

I live near a family whose daughter is at Duke on a track scholarship. They're all big Duke fans now wearing all the Duke attire. I talked to Steve, the Dad, and he said not to bring up the lacrosse case with his wife.

Apparently, she's obsessed with every little detail of the case. Steve said if I brought it up, I'd be at my own risk. He'd just taken a walk with his wife and she went on and on for two hours about the DA the DNA etc. He complained that he'd not gotten a word in edgewise. I'm afraid she'll call to chat and I'd never get away! So I'm not sending it to an obsessive compulsive. But I have another neighbor who's going to get this very special holiday wish at some point. I think maybe several signs in the yard might do the trick. Don't you wish you lived near me?
