Hello fans of Alabama Football. My name is Guy Sciro and I have been an Alabama fan since 1977, prior to that I was a misguided War Eagle fan. I went into the Army in 1973 to 1977 and I was repeatedly asked two questions:

1. Did I know George Wallace ?
2. Did I know Bear Bryant? No questions about Auburn.

I started going to Alabama games, and had the oppurtunity to go to the famous Goal Line Stand game against Penn State in New Orleans and then went again the next year when we beat Arkansas and won back to back National Championships, I really learned to appreciate the Bear, the tradition and Alabama's winning ways.

I am from Birmingham, and live in Vestavia Hills, my children are both future Alabama students, I graduated from the stepchild school when it comes to sports UAB. I will not post much but I look forward to reading the thoughts of like minded Alabama fans.

I appreciate the welcome. I was stationed in North Carolina many years ago and thought about living there. I was stationed at Ft. Bragg. I did get to go to a football game UNC v Army.. The University as I remenber was beautuful. Chapel Hill was a great setting..It was between the years of 74 and 76..I do not remember, but I do remember the atmosphere was great. --I think Army lost.
