Hi Ross and All.

I'm basically participating in this type of communication for the first time but like the idea of a non-hostle form of talking sports.

I'm AJ, born and raised in Alabama. Question myself everyday, to and from work, why I every allowed myself to be transferred to Atlanta. No matter where I live, Alabama will always be home.

I'm divorced, still have family, friends and a beautiful goddaughter in Alabama. My four legged son, Bama, (a puggle - part pug, part beagle), lives with me. Haven't been able to find a miniture elephant. Based on my four legged son's name and the miniture elephant, is it obvious I am an Alabma fan?

If not obsious, I am a MAJOR Alabama fan. I think I knew how to say Roll Tide before I could say Mama or Daddy.

I'm looking forward to sharing a friendly discussion with your membership of sports. My favorite sport is football. Not sure how acitive I will be as my insurance job and membership of my homeowners' association is somewhat consuming. But do look forward to being able to participate.

Hi Aj, we're glad you're here and picked GoTeamsGo as your 1st place to chat online. You'll find fans of pretty much every sports team here. While we attract the occasional jerk that can't talk sports without slinging personal insults, we try hard to keep this place friendly. Those bad apples get kicked out pretty quickly by our awesome moderators & staff.

You'll appreciate this, my son was about 16 months old & couldn't talk very much. But he kept asking us to sing the "Corn Song." For a couple weeks, we kept wondering who had taught him this corn song & what it was. He finally helped us figure out that it was:
"Corn won't grow at all on Rocky Top..."

And every dog is named Smokey as far as he's concerned

Different schools for us but I know all about the passion of SEC football fans. Look forward to chatting more with you.

Hello and welcome, odiesbama! I read your post that rmjvol moved to the Alabama forum for you and thought it was excellant. Honestly, I can't say I really like the thought of Steve Spurrier coaching at UA; however, if he's the one they name...well, that's my team and he'll be my coach. Like you, I think my first words were Roll Tide, and, if I have anything to say about it, those will be the first words from my future child!

If you don't mind my asking, what part of Alabama where you born and raised in?
