I am from Colorado.....which definitely makes me a HUGE AVALANCHE FAN!!!! I also enjoy watching Chris Pronger when I can! I am an absolute Nascar Fan, I love Dale Jr and Tony Stewart, but do tend to cheer on some of the other drivers as well. I most definitely am not a fan of Jimmie Johnson or Kurt Busch!! When it comes to football I have to stick to my hometown boys which would be the Kansas City Chiefs ( I grew up there) and as far as baseball I am rooting for Kansas City Royals and the Colorado Rockies. I do watch other sports off and on, but mostly I make it a must in my schedule to watch Nascar and Hockey!!

Ahhh yes my friend. It is a sport of the heart !!! Sound a little corny ???

In reality there isn't much sport (competition) in hot air ballooning. There is a festival in Albuquerque, N.M. once a year where about 750 balloonists gather and their makor competition is to drop a bean bag on a undisclosed to them "X". A designated balloon takes off. Lands and sets out the "X" and then lifts off once again. When he is done that the rest of the 749 balloonists take off and try to hit the "X". Closest to the center wins a cash prize. Other than that most balloonists fall into one of two categories. Business and pleasure. Both require a pilots license. The business pilot needs a commercial license while the pleasure pilot needs a private license. These are FAA approved and tested licenses but they do not enable you to fly a plane and the same goes for airplane pilots. Obviously hot air balloons are very weather dependent, although the cooler the temp the more flying time per gallon of fuel you can get. Winter flying is most certainly not out of the game. Most people don't consider it due to the cool temps but it is still a lot of fun.

I currently reside in Cleveland, TN but will be transferring to UT in the Spring. In turn, the Tennessee Volunteers are my favorite sports team. I attended my first game on September 2nd where I was blessed to witness our victory over California. It was that day that I fell in love with the whole game day experience. I love to play football and paintball. i am part of a paintball team and we compete with other teams. i am a tom boy. my favorite NFL teams are he New England Patriots, The New Orleans Saints represeant, Colts,and the Ney York Giants. what you don't like the patriots...o so you must like jeff gordon that figures...the patriots are a good team but have made a few not so wise decisions like they traded their 2 best recivers to different teams and thats the only really huge mistake. so who is your favorite nascar driver mine is jamie mcmurry.

Whoa, whoa, whoa ..... go back and re-read what I wrote. I said you can't be all bad if you like the Pats. That means you like a great team. As for liking Jeff Gordon ... I'll tel ya right up front that I favor no particular driver. I like racing but dislike domination. There are some drivers I don't care for and there are some I really like but as for a favorite .... none !!!!

I am new at this thing. I am glad that you do not like Johnson Ido not like him either. My thing if Stewart or Hamlin can't win anybody but Johnson or Jeff Gordon. Stewart and Hamlin both look realy good next year. I think the sleaper next year will be Dale Jr.
