Hey all,

Posting and intro... just found this forum today in my search for NASCAR discussion.

My husband and I just got in to watching NASCAR this year... wow! I'm hooked.

Still trying to figure out the 'game'... but its at least fascinating to watch. (heh... just how fascinating can it be to see a guy go fast, turn left, go fast turn left...etc.?) But yeah... interesting to watch the strategies unfold on the different tracks.

My interest in NASCAR probably ties in with my interest in hot rods... gotta love the original shine runners, without which there would be no NASCAR.

Not really interested in other sports (please don't flame me ), except maybe a good rowdy hockey game from time to time... or maybe Rugby... its a little more bloodthirsty. Gotta admit I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials... even if the past couple years have been disappointing. (though the commercials on the last couple races have been kinda cool).

Other than that... I'm a pixel jockey by day (photo retouching and prepress for a publishing company out here), welding student and mad artist by night.

Guess that's about it for now.

Well Steel you and me are here for the samething. I been watching nascar for a long time just about nothing better or more exciting. You and your husband must go to a race if you havent already been. We go to the Nov. race in Texas, this year was #3 for us. Ill tell you this much tv does them cars no justice whatsoever. You can feel the horsepower from your head to your toes. Quick story I took my 13yr old stepson this year, I told him when they drop the green flag and 43 cars come out of turn 2 coming at us at 175 or better in the middle of the backstreach theres no better feeling. When they went by that first time I looked at him and the look on his face was just priceless. Welcome to NASCAR Steel!!!!

Welcome to both Steel and 26. I've seen that the both of you have already visted the NASCAR Forum. Even though this is our to very long off season, we will remain active throughout the winter. There are always plenty of rumors to verify and discuss. Please do come to the forum often and post your thoughts and ideas along with the rest of us.
