i have been getting Pm's like mad begging to know more about me

so here it is

im 35 and live in central Maine

my wife and i are due to have our 6th child on Jan 8th, it's a girl and we plan to name her Charley Rose .............we like Charley for a girls name and Rose is my wife's mothers name

teams i like:
the Red Sox
The Celtics
The Bruins
The Pats
Notre Dame <----im adopted and was told my birth parents were Irish so it seemed to fit

im a person that believes you have 2 choices for Pro teams you have to like

1) where you grew up
2) where you now live

you can like other teams but you have to also fall into one of those catagories.......it should be a law

as for jobs:

i spent 5 years in the Army....saw action in Somolia, what a nightmare
spent 3 years driving truck
now im in recycling

anything else you want to know ?

Nice to meet you. I have a question though, what do you think someone should do about picking their pro teams if they don't live in a state that has pro teams? Like me, I live in Oklahoma and have lived here all my life, and the only pro team we have is the Hornets for NBA and they arent even ours they go back next year.

thats a real good question, and i admit i dont have a real good answer

here in Maine we dont have Pro teams either but i picked the Mass. teams as they are closest

do you have that choice ?

1)Jets/Rams
2)Dodgers/Mets
3)Islanders/Avalanche
4)Knicks/Lakers

Yeah we have the Dallas Cowboys (about a 2 hour drive), but Ive never liked them for some reason? So I just chose Denver when I was about 3 watching football with my dad, and he used to take me to Denver every year just for a get away. So when I was young it just made sense to me to like Denver which reminded me of my father. And as I got older it just stuck. Now that my dad passed away last year, I cant imagine rooting for someone else.

I believe that you like a team because you like them, doesn't matter where you live the choice you make is yours alone. I was born and raised in Hawaii where we have no pro anything but my dad liked the 49ers so here I am, when I moved here to California nothing was going to sway me from my team no matter what. I am a Miami Heat fan, never been to Florida but I've been a faithful fan since 1995 because of Pat Riley and him picking my fav. NBA player Alonzo Mourning, so it shouldn't matter where you live that dictates your allegiance to any Pro team just your heart picking who you like. What I don't like is people picking a fav. team every year because of who wins the big game, that is bogus and no one likes a bandwagon fan...if you pick a team cause they're winning. great but learn all you can about your team even their background and history makes you a better fan, and you should stay with them when they're losing too.
