My name is Jennifer. I live in a little town right outside of Norman, Oklahoma. My favorite team is (college) the Sooners (pro) Denver Broncos. I'm also a NASCAR fan and my driver is Dale Jr. I dont have a favorite player of all time, there has been to many greats in sports, but Peterson is about to change my mind about that. Hey, Jenn, and welcome to GoTeamsGo. Peterson is a phenom, no doubt about it. I'm guessing he's the Heisman favorite at this point, even though OU has a couple of losses. He's gonna be a great pro, too - hey, maybe Denver will draft him, do ya think?

I like him. I mean in college he had (I think 45 starts ) more than V. Young and M. Leinart. Now the next Elway.... I dont know, only time will tell that.

Both Young and Leinart have been inserted into a starter role...do you think that will pressure Denver to take an early look see at Jay?

I'm not sure who all has their eye on wanting Perterson (I'm sure a lot of teams), but in my own opinion I think AD will stay at Oklahoma for one more year. Here is my reasoning to back this up.
I'm not sure if they broadcast this interview everywhere, but a reporter asked AD what he was looking foward to in the future and AD said, "I can't wait untill we play Miami." As most of you know OU doesn't play Miami untill 2007, so maybe that's some insite on what he is thinking.
But then again once he sees those $$$$$ signs, and knows that OU will have a new QB and be "starting over" why would he risk the chance of getting injured? So I guess we will see after this season what happens. And who knows, maybe he will want one more chance to whoop those longhorns. Just my 2cents,lol.

True, but I'm not sure what they will do yet. I think he looks good and he definatly has the experience, but this is a whole new league for young guys out there. Young is an all star and made some pritty big mistakes, so I think they will want to see how he handles under that kind of pressure.
