Even though I've posted a few times I guess I might as well do one in the 'introduce yourself' forum as well. I'm 32/M from Minnesota, and basically found this site through an NWHL (national women's hockey league) post on the USCHO.com forums.
Growing up, my mom used to say 'you'd watch cockroaches race if they made it a sport,' so I guess sports have always played a large part in my daily life. I watch the 'big four,' hockey-basketball-baseball-football, etc and NASCAR as well. I still watch WWF/WWE every Monday after 25 years of watching Pro Wrestling also.
I prefer college hockey(men's or women's,)to pro hockey, but pro football more than college football (aside from Notre Dame.) For basketball I'll watch both about equally, since I've played it every year since graduating high school (didn't play IN high school because of coaching staff.) Last year I took to coaching junior high basketball for the first time which turned out to be as much fun as playing.
The only other thing I can think to put in here is, the job market in Minnesota sucks, so Idecided to try and make some money on the internet, doing consignment selling on eBay, and also creating an affiliate website(hasn't exactly made money). I've also got into blogging as a thing for fun rather than money. My
"Random Thoughts" blog is actually being read a lot after about a month, while my UMD women's blog (below) is rather new. I like a place where I can spout off about stuff (forums are good for that
